We are adding to our Heathy Families team by hiring a Family Support Specialist!
A Family Support Specialist provides home visiting services to families with the goal of preventing child abuse and neglect. A Family Support Specialist Home helps new moms and dads be better parents by teaching them:
- How babies grow and develop
- How to keep babies safe and healthy
- Good parenting skills
Parents also get help in setting and reaching goals for completing school and/or getting a job.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
Valid driver's license, registration and vehicle insurance
